The family was first mentioned in 1618 with Georg Neugebauer. The Neugebauers have operated since the 18th century. Weaving mills in Langenbielau, which probably contributed significantly to the economic development of Langebielau. In addition to the weaving mills, they also owned a large estate.

The Family of those of Schweinichen

The family is probably of Slavic descent and was first mentioned in 1230 as Tader, castellanus de Swina. The main line begins in 1256 with Gunczelin zu Schweinhaus. The ancestral seat of the family was the important Swinia Castle ( Schweinhausburg , today Åšwiny) near Bolkenhain in Lower Silesia.
The members of the family were wealthy early on. In the second half of the 14th century, two lines were formed, of which the older Heinrich line, with branches in Borau , Jägerndorf and Kolbnitz (near Herrmannsdorf ), some of which also settled in the Kingdom of Poland , still exists today. The younger Günzelsche line on Schweinhaus, with the branches Mertschütz -Wisenthal and Niedersiegersdorf , died out in the 18th and 19th centuries.
One of the most important representatives of the family was the ducal-Liegnitz court marshal Hans von Schweinichen (1552-1616), who, with the description of his service at the court of three Silesian dukes , is one of the most well-known moralists of the 16th century.
Pawelwitz Castle in the Psie Pole (Hundsfeld) district of Wroclaw came to the family in 1892 via Marie von Schweinichen née von Korn from the Wroclaw publishing family and remained in the possession of Ernst von Schweinichen (1893–1973) until it was expropriated in 1945.

The Vorreiter Family

The Vorreiter family comes from the Drama Valley near Beuthen-Tarnowitz in present-day Silesia. However, the origins of the landlord and free farmer family are likely to be in Germany. They were probably among the Schöfferbarfrei, which the free social status of the family at the time suggests. In the course of the east settlement in the Middle Ages, the family found their new home in Silesia. At the latest around the year 1685, the pioneers can be proven in church records. The progenitor of today's line is the landowner and free farmer Michael Vorreiter, who is mentioned in the Lubek church records around 1797. It is assumed that the Vorreiter family was one of the founders of the town of Lubek.
