
The House Groß Märtinau
The older house of Groß Märtinau goes back to Daniel Martin Brossok (1732-1803) and Rosina Brossok born Sterniske (1730-ca.1800). Around 1890 the members of the house emigrated to America. They sailed from Hamburg to New York and settled in the USA. The members of this house still live in the United States of America. The lines Stolp and Oldenburg belong to the older house Groß Märtinau. The Stolp line died out in the 19th century.
The Line of Oldenburg
The line of Oldenburg goes back to Walter Charles Brossok (1882-1942) and Theresa Brossok born Wight (1894-1956). It belongs to the older Groß Märtinau house, which emigrated from Hamburg to New York/USA in 1890. Its members still live in the USA to this day.
The Stolp line
The Stolp line died out in the 19th century.
The House Neuhof
The younger house of Neuhof goes back to Johann Anton Joseph Brossok (1801-1876) and his wife Maria Franziska Veronika Brossok born Majunke (1813-1882). Until 1945 the members of this house lived in Silesia. At the end of the Second World War they were spread over the whole of today's federal territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Kainowe and Trebnitz lines belong to the younger house Neuhof. In terms of the number of descendants, it is the larger of the two houses today.
The Line of Kainowe
The Kainowe line belongs to the Neuhof house.
It goes back to Johann Brossok (1828-1896) and Elisabet Brossok born Klein (1838-1897).
Thus it is the oldest of the houses.
The Line of Trebnitz
The Trebnitz line belongs to the Neuhofer house and is currently the largest of the two houses.
Its founding goes back to Paul Josef Johann Brossok (1848-1905) and Anna Ottilia Franziska Brossok born Hübscher (1855-1943).
Many lawyers, doctors, civil servants and soldiers have come from him.
